the esp 34 isa fantastic engine. had one in my losi and Baja and it was great. @Seandonato73 has it now and im pretty sure he's happy with it also

The stock g320 case needs to be modded/clearanced to fit a +2mm stroker.

Yes he can shave off the bottom of the crankcase for clearance with a dremel. Or buy a case that’s already modified. Ddm sells them for $79 or you can go with a fancy one from obr/tr

I don’t have that engine anymore that was on my last rovan baja 5t build and I did love that engine but my buddy has a 34 and I’d like to have something with similar power.

Let the stock one in it. They do add a bit, but not worth the money imo.

I have a stock g320 case and thats going to be a spare engine for a 34cc. Esp actually gives you directions when you buy his g340 kit for if you want to mod a stock g320 case

OBR, ESP, Bartolone, scott finlay, Oddified, seriously all make great engines.

Most important thing here though is your location and parts availability. Stateside, OBR and ESP are your best bet with bartolone being third for parts support state side. UK and such oddified is best as scott finlay is done so his small bores and parts wont be available anymore

Honestly, I wouldnt put a ramped high rpm piston in the 320, becuase that engine is notorious for bluing the big end bearing. So high rpm will only accelerate the wear. As for the 29cc one , why not.
