Yeah might stick out a bit from the cage but that's no problem ? now I'll have two reed motors, one that would run and one, not so much lol

A normal v-stack with a filter shouldn't touch the cage. Even my angled shredstack barely touches the stock rollbar with the big TGN prefilter.

No using that tc clone cage that I was using with the 71,just the stock (miss a Baja 5b) ? and yeah I'm not using my snorkel lol, that was just to relocate the filter with that dumbass pipe of mine for the 71 ?? what filter u Running? I have a tgn angled short stack filter and eventually a redneck for said filter.I'm pretty sure either of those motors will make you smile! Get the one you want, and enjoy!

I put the tgn dt1 triple ....it all fits well ??
I'm running the stock HPI air filter. I went to the garage and snapped a couple shots without the big TGN prefilter. I guess it sits a bit higher than anticipated. I originally flipped the shredstack when I got the reed case, but then changed my mind. I think I'll actually flip it again. I don't like how the prefilter rubs against the rollbar.
With a straight v-stack, it should still work just fine without touching the cage.

Yeah I'll be fine. My filter is alot shorter than the stock one so I don't think it'll poke ? thanks for the pics btw
It looks it, but it's not, just the angle of the pic. However, the upper cap does touch the roll bar, which I'm not comfortable with. I've been running in the new engine without the rollbar installed, so I didn't notice the clearance issues until just tonight. Gonna flip the shredstack to get it more inline with the stock filter angle before I run with the rollbar installed.

Ok I asked ddm and they will not be having a Christmas sales, just black Friday. Cool, I'm waiting for a reply from obr now. Gunna hit ddm pretty hard lol

ok so Sean got back to me (sean at obr that is, not our sean bby 
) and he says long blocks don't get discounted much to anything. only complete motors. and he says that they don't mod the stock transfer port covers. so it looks like the motor isn't happening just yet. gonna get ddm stuff at black Friday and then just get the motor early/spring 2020 unless i sell something to get the motor

So I flipped the shredstack. It's still not where I want it, but until I can find something better, it will work for now.
