Welcome to the Nut house... the disc on the lay shaft has a bit of rattle sort of side ways but should not spin on the shaft as that renders it useless..If you have the later rear disc set up ..as in the 97 then you should have a grub screw to tighten down on the shaft stopping it from...

I did the same ...1mtr length of silicone hose for about £12 cut a 50mm length from it and hey ho not needed to replace it yet...2 gallons later..which leaves me another 19 exhaust couplings as spare parts... much cheapness...:lol::lol::lol::lol:

that sounds like it should stop a lot better with that amount of power... my cables are routed as smoothly and as long is is possible.. I have thought about making up some other form of lever so It is almost a straight pull...which will be even better.

not had any problems with mine since they have been installed.. I cut a cable down into the required lengths then fitted up a steel collar with grub screw to grip the cable...decided to solder it too..so its secure. I machined up a couple of alloy collars to fit them into the cable guide...

+1 @ renbar looking at the pics it is the cable holder guide that is hitting the arm first ...looking at mine they are a lot taller using the taller brake levers too...more power through leverage too long levers are 08461/3 short levers are 08461/2 long cable holders are 08487/6 short cable...

My front cables where crap..I spent ages trying to get them to work well. It was a case of no brakes or locked up nothing in between.. In the end I made up new cables from mountain bike cables... and fitted a high power servo and it now stops more like I thought it should the cables...
