??that was quick. What fun??
Yup?? Waiting on the front oil seal and killswitch lead now so I can finish. You know I never realised the piston doesn't fall below the intake opening.? Seems like it would need to to take in air but I guess that's what the transfer ports are for. I love taking things apart because you get to understand why they tick.

Just watched the video. I think you were too lean on the low end needle as it shouldn’t take that many pulls to start and your idle was very high possibly due to lean low needle setting.

I used to have issues starting with my 990 carb like in your video until someone suggested on here to Richen the low needle and now she starts nice and easy!

Hope the rebuild goes well bud and you can start enjoying the 5b. Keep us all up to date as always ?

Thanks Jimbo. Yeah something was definitely wrong from the start cause I've never had a hard time starting with the 990. I even put up a video on how to do it. I could also hear the bog on low acceleration. I think by the time I started her up it was just a matter of time. The clock started ticking?

Everyone has seen the buggy run without any bogging or any incling of something being wrong until this video.ive dropped tons of run videos with her and I nor anyone else commented on her being lean until now. I think it was the clunker leaning the engine out and eating away at the piston top then BOOM done. Updates coming bruh??

All back together. Letting the loctite setup overnight then break-in time when I get home from work. The compression is crazy.?
