Decided to get some work done on the radio tray yesterday. And while I was there I had taken the wheels off and I discovered this
All 4 wheels are egg
shaped
With a gap of up to 5mm on them.
So with this in mind store your mcd car off the wheels is my tip for the day

Cause you can boil them then freeze them, should bring them back into shape. Used to do that on my kyosho wheels. Nit always 100% but good enough to keep using then.

Only problem is that I hate the idea of gluing tires 
Buy a tire glue that has a needle so you can push the glue into the base of the rim a bit. It’s really easy to do a good job you’ll be fine. I highly recommend team associated glueOnly problem is that I hate the idea of gluing tires
