I would expect it to last for a little wile. We tried a ton of different epoxies for manifolds and exhaust patches. I don't think it's the temp that kills them, more so the heat cycles they go through. The smell when they start breaking down is about the worse. Keep away from it right after you start it till it's done stinking.

Good to know didn't think about the smell. I also noticed most of them break due to vibration also more than the heat.
