So I managed some RC time after spending most of the past 5 days in Brussels.

Finally got to the end of "spacer-gate" it goes in-between the two bearings inside the alloy gear plate, bit of a faff but pics will help explain it. @dougstar

Got replacement servo. I know I keep harping on about www.rapid-racing.co.uk but they sent me a Rhino Multiplex HV servo, one of the best on the market as a replacement for a stock RTR servo and offered to refund my postage of sending the faulty one back. Name me another company who'd do that? Credit to them.

Also got my upgraded exhaust fitted, kill switch and finally fitted spoiler to body.

Enough rambling... Onto the pics!!!

Nice. When I ordered the FG I looked at the MCD first, and a Kraken, but wanted the FG. Have no idea how it will handle, how quick it (wont be) etc, looking forward to seeing your 45cc screamer though,

FG's are fast and handle good onroad probably the best on a on road track I think mine will only be good on straights and drags

I'll be happy if mine turns the right direction and actually runs ok. Let alone handle haha.

My Mcd is the older proline model and having fitted a centre lsd it did want to change direction better.
A little toe out will help turn the nose in but not too much

Thanks for that info I'm going to get a centre diff when I can afford it I'll try toe out tonight aswell I've also got a - camber on the rear about 2° and dead centred on the front

I'd probably swap that around and try it.
0 degree camber on the rear and 2 on the front.
You Might find the rear rotates a little better helping the front turn in.

I have 2 front and 1 at the rear

I have borrowed the tire setup tool from a friend but when I'm ordering one of those 180° semi circle things like that I used in school once I mark the centre line on the tire should pretty much be accurate enough

I have a camber gauge to do the camber.

Toe is done by measuring the distance between the front and rear of the wheels. Not sure what the mm measurement equates to in degrees though. Fg also have a bar which you can bolt to the rear of the car. The camber gauge slids in and laying flat then becomes a toe gauge. Not sure if this is a current item though

Both my fg and mcd have 5mm difference between the front and rear measure of the wheels... 5mm more at the front

Hope that majes sense.
I'm by no means an expert. I just like to fiddle and experiment but as I have my tools with me, I can normally do it where I'm running so I get a direct comparison
The Mcd Proline tyres are pretty hard to find, I'd rather make sure they're all pointing in the right direction so I don't wear them excessively

The semi circle measures in ° degrees but by mm if that makes sense not sure how accurate but after that when measured everything matches up I gotta give the setup tool bk tomorrow I don't wanna buy one for myself I'm cheap lol but looking forward to the carpark run tonight also as you have better setup experience will I benefit from locking the front or rear diff to drift round corners easier?

Mine are now 8mm in on the front exact after measuring also the rear are at dead centre

Just downloaded a camber guage app for me phone. See if it helps. I like a gadget but spending a load on setup tools seems a waste for me tbh
