ok before the explosion here's a tutorial on how I did mine.
1. Remove fan cover by removing both engine mount screws and the 4 bolts and two screws on the front.
2.Remove old button and install the part of the killswitch in its place.
3.Drill hole close to edge of fancover and push drillbit until it breaks through the wall.
4. Re-install fan cover, with wire exiting through the exit made in the last step.
5. I routed my wire along the inside of the rollcage, it seems to be the easiest access.
6. Drill hole in receiver box, half the hole should be on the top and half on the bottom. Hole should be the size in which wire fits through snugly, but without pinching, this way there is minimal worry about water getting in.
7. Install receiver end of killswitch.
8. Connect both ends in the receiver box, and close with wire exiting through hole made in step 6.
9. Tidy up outside wiring with zipties, making sure the wire is out of harms way.
10. Test

You don't really need a YouTube tutorial, its simple to install (y)

Which explosion? I was just asking about any videos ya'll might know about, really. No tutorials needed. Thanks anyway though.

bored ugh GIF

I can't find any videos on killswitch installation specific to baja. I'd like to get some ideas on wire routing and how to seal any holes I put in the receiver box. I paid extra for the little green light btw. That's gonna look cool and also let me know it's working without me having to kill it remotely just to check it each time I take it out. I searched all manners of killswitch install baja on here.
No tutorials needed
🤦‍♂️ 😂

Screw it! Couldn't wait any longer. Breaking it in now. USPS kinda sucks. Now it says I won't get the killswitch til Tuesday. Oh well. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Skeeters suck though.

I know its a bit late now, but I hope you oiled that filter
I did. Thank you. I had so much fun just breaking it in. Kept it under half throttle. Just running around in circles mostly. I got it back on the charger. I wish it had reverse. I ran up under the holly bush lol. Fixin to get dark.

so you ran it without a killswitch around the neighbourhood ?
don't matter whether yer going fast or slow dude, a runaway is a runaway,
only takes one servo failure or battery issue and boom its busted, or ya hit something/someone etc,

That is incorrect. I did not run it around the neighborhood. Read it again.
