The exhaust is an RN Fat Monster Power S exhaust.
These are not made any longer.
RN tuning let them made by VRC (Victory RC), but VRC is now made their own performance exhausts.
The aluminium endpipe, I made it myself on a lathe.

There are 2 types of RN made
Here the other one.
The RN Fat Monster Power (without the S).

Off the powder coat should stay?
I don't no,,,,, try it.
The shocks above from my friend are 30mm dia. shocks.

hi Ron, i studied your pics and pics i found around the web. I arrived to the conclusion that your mod is possible only with beetle body and not with other body as monster truck, stadium truck, hummer etc that are closed in the rear.

Maybe i could make the same mod using the original marder body (but i really don't like it) or buying the beetle body. I'll think about it. Thanks a lot for your help and for the measures you sent me by pm!

cheers

Riccardo

MB pro xl

What do you think about the Hormann MT With te same wheelbase.
They ride with the MT body.
img_4673.jpg

I ride for one reason with the beetle body,,,,,,,,
This body is the best crash proof body there is.
By a turn over,,,, it rolls!

The hummer body is the baddest body, and cracked when you made a jump and land on the rear.
Think about it!

By an MT you can set the roll cage for The shock absorber plate instead of behind.

Hey Ron! The more i look at your beetle the more i think i will go for it... i didn't think about damages after an accident and seen how much bodies cost i HAVE to think about it. Your beetle looks very aggressive and i like this so ... Thank you

Riccardo

So we're back!

So we're back,,,,,

I've ridden a long time with this car, including a few meetings.
The Integy losi shock are really the worst shocks that exist.
They are starting to leak if you look at it.:w00t:

So, we are a little bit further, and am working with a number of improvements again on this car!

The suspension on the car are now GPM Losi LST shocks wit Hot Racing
7lb springs on it.
Verry good shocks, I'm verry happy with these shocks.

What I have created or changed:
Elcon uprights with elcon risers.
Elcon axles for the front wheels.
FG stadiumtruck rims white.
Carson MT tires (fits the FG stadiumtruck rims).
Elcon Wheel square 14mm
RVS (homemade) turnbuckles (steerringarms) with Elcon (igus) L and R ball joints.
RVS (homemade) turnbuckles for Elcon rear with Elcon (igus) ball joints.
Steering servo support (homemade) for the Hitec 5745.
throtle/brake servo support (homemade) for the Hitec 985 (not yet on photo).
Changd (homemade) for suspension.
changing rear shock mount (is now on the upright wishbone pins).
Hörmann spoiler support with aluminum adapters.
Homemade rollcage.
Elcon servosaver reversed on the new homemade servosaver support.
Larger homemade disc for Elcon diffbrake with carbon brakepads.
Cleon MMX spoiler.

Here are the pictures of the one and other

I'll be back!

Really impresive build and mods youve got going on there.Il be interested to see how you hook up your elcon brakes.I have the same drive line and brakes but there doesent seem to be a clear pathway for the brake rod to pass through.Im thinking of riging it with fg flexy brake cable rather than the straight steel rod.Im curently rebuilding my elcon diff,Once that is done ill post my mods in my posted section.

The Elcon diffbrake is one of the worst brakes out there.
You continue to keep it adjusting.
The problem is the too small Brake surface.
I have made a modification for this problem.
A larger disk and carbon brake pads.

(The servo control (steel rod) is usually through the clutchholder and clutchbell)

Here the pics of the larger disk.

Very nice work ron. Those brakes are awsome.I have not run my mt yet so i don't know what im in for.I bought it for a park basher so i can keep my baja in race condition.

Here the latest pictures of the finished pro MB XL.
This was an hour before shakedown in Beerze.

Here in the Netherlands rides more people with these combination of tire and rim.
Fits great.
And the car is wider with these wheels.
Anyone who runs races with the monster cars, driving these tires.
Much more control and much more steering.

hi ron i love youre truck now what would it be like on my beetle ie the longer chassis but keeping overall width the same as stock would this be any good as i don't realy want to go to all the extra work making it wider would it handle better longer but standard width or does this realy need to be wider as well

Xl

The chassis is made by a person here in the Netherlands.
But you can bought on from www.alu-tec.de in 6cm longer version.

When you make the car longer he is more manageable and he is no longer do wheely's and have a better steering.
You can use more power on the wheels.
The width allows for better handling, and the car rolls no more over when you do a hard turn.
If you do both you get a different car that much better control.
And if you get off the FG shocks and replace good shock absorbers than you have a good car that will really hard turn off and really going hard on a rough terrain.
The traction is much more better than you're used to a regular FG.
The fatpower exhaust is on off the best bottem power exhausts there is on the market.
When you have originel car, de car go all the way to making wheely's.
no problem at all,,,,,
No I can use the extra bottem power and have traction.

The car rides easy and smooth and full control.:cup-1:

For those they would make a car also width.
You can make it with the elcon XL marder wishbones.
Front and rear from elcon fits the monstertruck with no problems.
I have build a car up for somone in XL.
