engine Build
Thanks teamchrome & bigger the better.....Ok now where did I leave off on the
engine build...Think top end is next...I cleaned the gasket surface with denatured Alc
applyed a thin coat of #2 permatex sealet to lower case.and also the cylinder..
let tack up get sticky....apply the copper gasket...for this I am using a stock 28mm
crank so the gasket is ,020 copper....apply copper gasket to lower case..now time for the cylinder to go on the piston..
On the intake side of piston you will see a small nub..the piston ring has to be squeezed together there.,,oil up the piston and ring...oil the in side of the cylinder...now squeeze
the piston ring together ..slide the cylinder on stright down slowly..NO twisting or turning the cylinder...Once on the case..put red lock tie on the cylinder head cap screw
there are 4 all together..just snug down each 1 as you go ..but to be slightly loose..
once all 4 cap screws are in place..tighten in a cross pattern...again with a t allen\with the split handle..cuz you can't over tighten with that....Enclosed pictures..more to come
