A lot of on road guys really like the lauterbacher Teflon clutches. My one buddy swear by them. Also the mod clutch is a great choice. Food for thought for down the road when it’s time to replace

Also I still stand by running mcd wheels the weight saving on unsprung weight is absolutely massive

@misterleon thanks for the tips, how do you like or have you tried the mod clutch in a 5ive? Not going to lie I have a severe ocd issue with having the mcd wheels on the 5ive they just seem out of place but id agree with the unsprung weight savings.
I ran a mod clutch in my losi before I sold it on. Grabs great low heat no clutch fade expensive. Win, win, win, lose🤣 I’m running a mod clutch in my Baja now. My mcd w5 has a ufc steel clutch system I don’t love it but it’s the only clutch system option if you want a vented bell

So I take it the clutch is worth getting?

Little update, the old chassis is stripped down and I've gone through literally everything again and reinstalled all of the fluid diffs. I've added a bunch of alloy and upgraded parts including servos and brakes. Now I'm just finishing the servos and transferring everything over to the bartolone chassis.20230128_194605.jpg20230129_200312.jpg

@MonsterAir it's company on ebay called E-virtue, the Bart chassis is pretty nice I do like it and I should have weighed it but yea it feels a tad lighter. I do like how the black vitavon cases have the appearance of still being the black plastic ones, nothing is overpowering eachother color wise.

Got a bit more done. Not really liking the generic double servo arm. One thing that hilantronics does that idk why is make the little brace in between the screw holes so tall that you can't use servo clamps, I ground them down with the vekta but I don't feel like doing it to this one.20230130_191557.webp
