Palms do indeed suck. Here in Florida we deal with them when the hurricanes and storms come calling. I keep a saw in my personal truck as well as one in my patrol car in case they are needed. After hurricane Irma, I went through four chains dealing with downed palms. Extra chains are a must and either someone to sharpen the chains or a good sharpener setup for DYI.

Call it seasoned ,but you also have to watch out for sappy trees ,pine trees have a lot of sap that cakes up the
flues of the burner ,the build up can cause a fire!

Are co-gen that generated electric did not allow the evergreens & pine trees to come to be burned!
The plant had caught on fire one time!

This is what I have growing in my garden ?? or should I say dead in my garden??

Out in Montana at my wife's grandparent ranch, all the burn is pine. (Also all that is about) if its seasoned right it's not too terrible to burn. I avoid it like the plague.
Wish outdoor burners were legit here. I'd have one in a hot second. The county made it dam near impossible to get one if you didnt already have one.

Are you escaping pa fir a reason?

They did the same here with outdoor furnaces. Completely asinine beurocrats strike again. What diffrence does it make if I burn inside or outside?‍♂️ the smoke still goes outside either way?‍♂️ pine is a ok wood if you have to. The white is much cleaner than yellow. If I burn it I keep the blower humming to burn extra hot. Keeps the creosote somewhat under control. Still risky though.

Spent good part of the day chopping fire
Wood??? looks like 3 weeks 4 if I'm lucky ??
