So this weekend, friday did nothing, Saturday me and me dad did a headlight restoration on our heater altima, super easy but it was satisfying ? then went to a mall and got Mexican food for dinner. Today (Sunday) me and my dad did another thing, sanded a table so it can be painted cuz it looked like crap, had a weird white cloudy film on it and was scratched up, so that was done, then sat on me ass for teh rest of the day

I had a pretty decent weekend. The wife and I delved into making chocolate from the bean to the bar. She got a melanger and I made a bourbon chili truffle. It turned out pretty damn good! I'm just stoked that she has a hobby that also requires monetary investment that's of little practical use. For so long, I've been trying to justify my hobbies, so now she finally understands!

I also had a friend's 50th birthday to attend. Good times were had all around, and I got a bit obnoxious on the lyft ride home, which I always deem a success. I have no illusions about being an arse in certain public settings.

Spent a quiet Sunday at home just rewiring my KillerRC kill switch and watching TV. Nephew is coming to visit in a couple weeks, and we're planning a vacation to Scotland in a month, so I won't be doing a ton of RC antics. But I'm hoping to take the ole girl to my work campus this coming weekend to at least try breaking a few bits before I have to park her until I get back from the Europe.
 
So this weekend, Friday went and got some groceries and some fogging oil for me engine, went home and did nothing, Saturday (today) went to a car show, mostly older American stuff but I like it all, here's some pics, and keep in mind, this isn't even scratching the surface of the amount of cars there, these are just a few of my favs.

Tomorrow Gunna clean the house ?but overall a great weekend!
 
Same as usual. Family. Then I had last night and today for myself as the rest of them went to see my in-law's. Spend the time wisely by getting tit up stoned and listening to Meynard Keenans music while being moody. I'm under too much fiddlesticking pressure. Being a good dad is really hard work. Fun but really hard. Especially if they are intelligent which mine is. The girl dropped the diaper at 1 1/2 and could clearly articulate needs. At 3 she is fluent in two languages and learning a 3rd. The boy is around that age now and has started to use the toilet too so I think he drops it soon. As intelligent as the girl but also viscious and like a raging bull in a porcelain store. Their whole development cycle is sped up to double the speed and the only thing I can do is tighten the helmet put in the teethguard and hold on for dear life. At least they are really sweet children too. If they are growing into evil geniuses, it seems to come later. Which is fine by me.
