Chainsaws can be a large rabbit 🐇 hole you try to fill with money! They are like a boat, or really Anything that burns gas for me. I tend to go bonkers!..lol..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
No doubt about that. I know there is another member here that is also into saws as well and sure he would agree.
I would have to agree that it is a fuel burning addiction that started many years ago.
Sure electric is great but to me fuel still reigns as king despite being a little more work. And the tuning part of it is where the fun begins.

I'm learning to find hobbies that I can still do since I became a gimp/disabled person back in 2003. I bought a box full of used Ofna trucks back in 2005ish it contained 2 Ofna Titan's, and 1 Titan Twin. Along with 2 controllers. Knowing nothing about RC's I was able to get 1 truck running and driving. But immediately stopped after a few minutes run time because I noticed some metal shavings around the big gear ⚙️. Then everything got the batteries 🔋 removed and stuffed back in the box 📦! So I realized nitro was a pain, so this time. I blew a pile of money on a Losi 5T again this was a used piece with a 23cc and a 32cc Rofun engines. The 32 is installed now, but has never been run. It has a killer bee kill switch installed currently. I need advice on what batteries and charger are the best for the chassis, and what controller should I get? It was supposed to come with chassis batteries, but he couldn't find them. I live in a small mountain ⛰️ town with zero RC support. That's why I figured gas was the way to go!..Thanks for any help you can give, it's greatly appreciated!...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠

I wouldn't, I had that air box from turtle racing and if your not very careful you'll pinch the seal and allow dirt and dust and smoke your engine.

The dbxl tires and rims were garbage but the 5ive t 2.0 rims and tires are very good as long as you don't do donuts on the asphalt..

I run the air filter setup I mentioned with the outerwears cover and never have an issueView attachment 91508
Sorry for bringing this up from the dead but man what street tires you running? want to setup one of my 5t for asphalt destroying!

dope! are they rears or fronts? not sure if we can even run rears but thought id ask. also im enjoying all your build threads Rep! so much cool stuff.

Thanks I appreciate it, so I used baja 5b rears on all 4 corners with axle extenders. You really only have to use the extenders on the front just to clear the steering linkages, they fit on the back fine. The baja 5b tires are wider then the 5ive t rims so you'll have to buy a set of baja rear rims. I bought some rims from fearless rc when I raced and they did just fine.
