got that 2-3yrs ago. never had a single issue, no battery issues either ??Lol....Oh ,never saw that!
Ye man exactly that☝???so i take the existing screw out, drill all the way through the housing (so a hole can be seen from the outside) and then use a lonng screw that goes from the catch thing on the flywheel side of the PS to the out side of the housing and then add a nyloc nut right?
awesome!!! should i do this as soon as i get the PS or wait till something happens?Ye man exactly that☝???

@Cupton79 did you have this easy starter on your 36 https://www.rovanrc.com/pull-starts/easy-pull-start-kit-rv/ ? Cuz i didn't buy that, I got this
https://www.rovanrc.com/pull-starts...lacement-starter-for-32cc-36cc-rovan-engines/
So when you pull the little prawl on the starter housing extends out right? On yours? And there's a catch built into the flywheel right,? Show pics plz. Cuz if I'm right, that's the style that normally comes stock, my stock rovan motor did, then there's the style I just bought which has a external catch plate and the prawl on the starter doesn't extend out I believe. Could be wrong and I have no idea if there are benefits to either.Mine is different than that ,mine swings out from the housing into a catch on the engine ,I can show pics?
Ah so yeah didn't get that one, mine looks like it's the better one ?

All the big bores use this kind, and I see modified engines use the same kind (probably because of the higher compression?) Maybe mark35 or someone could tell us ?The one on mine is made of a carbon material ,but the one on my weed eater is the same kind ,but the part
that is on the engine is made of aluminum!
I am not sure on how long the type that I have would last on bigger & more powerful engine like yours ,however ,
They may have changed the starter type when the engine is bigger displacement!
I will show pics!

Yep that's the same one as my Baja (the stock one). SSeems like everything comes with that style stock, wonder why.Ok ,my bad ,on the weed eater it is different from both styles!
But here is the pic on the one that is on the stock Baja ,I forgot that you have a different flywheel .mine has the fingers!
Here ,the pic shows the paw that is in.
Here shows it being pulled out.
Here is the fly.
I can show you pics of a weed eater style ,but it has its own round disk type that screws onto the
crank shaft itself ,the pull start acts like the one on the Baja though!
