I’m guessing that too.
No, never had any interest in them until about 6 weeks ago when I started building this.
Why don’t you get one, I’m not being funny but while your thing works it’s dog slow man. A poopy clone will blow your mind and your rig away in comparison. If your going buy all those bits you’ve listed you’ll be on your way there, a proper setup Nitro savage is well better and much faster. Any and I mean any real 1/5th scale will also blow that thing out of the water as well.

I’m hoping you didn’t set out to build something heavier and slower than anything else out there, your efforts could be so much better spent on something else for no extra cash.

Do yourself a favor before we lose all respect for you and buy a rovan atleast. I don't support any clone rc but for fek sake man get with the program were a 5th scale community with smaller scale vehicles that we started with or grew fond of and kept. You jumped into a large scale forum with an 8th scale and hacked it. Id have more respect for you if you left the savage as it was and modded it

Well its slow because the gearing is off, stuck in 2nd gear actually.

I have to agree, a stock 23cc in any 1/5 platform would make that look silly, and a good used one can be had for for the same amount of money your dumping into Franken junk. You can her you have no load on the engine, and are way to under geared for that thing, which is also your saving grace. You still have a 25lb chicken shite sandwich.

Obviously the gearing can be changed, don't be so dense.

Ahh poop you shouldn't of said that @brokestroke He just lost the last bit of respect for you...and honestly your dense for coming on a large scale forum with what you built. At the end of the day its still an 8th scale regardless of what you do. At minimum we have roughly 3k dollars into our rigs and thats not flaunting we understood the cost of being in the hobby.

Maybe that why its in the "other RC" sub forum.

?‍♂️ if I had to take a guess the other rc forum is for members that have 5th scale that want to talk about their "other" rc. The "other" is a courtesy for 5th scale members. Not joining and just literally only staying in the other section

I believe you've missed your calling mate, a comedian would have been a good fit. That way you can take your piss poot attitude along with your joke mobile and find a new stage to perform on. Weve been more then accommodating to this farse and frankly have hit the limit, of absurdity. I bid you adua.

Look.... go here https://www.rovanrc.com/ they have some nice cheap 5th scales and I have a 360A, you will have fun with it, mod it and wrench on it, and then you will realize that you should have done it from the start. I say keep the savage as a shelf queen and get a real 5th. All the money you have into this could have prob gotten you a nice baja. Look: https://www.rovanrc.com/product-rv305a-26 . Just stop wasting time on this. It is not practical at all. Think parts availability, when you crash it you will realize how bad it would be to fix. Just set it on a shelf, hang it on a wall or do whatever, buy a real 5th, you wont be dissapointed.
