Spents asked for a comparison just snapped a few pics of the one end, splines are about the same on both shafts. They use a metal retaining ring to help keep the pins in the cvd.

Solid connection, beefier construction and also eliminates 2 pins and grab screws

It looks like the same cross pins for both, but they are much better supported. Imo this should be standard and not an upgrade.
I would like to mention an issue I had with the brakes in the vertigo trans. The hole and pocket machined for the brake camshaft was tight in the pocket. Like woulnt return tight. Hooked the drill to the shaft sprayed it up with some light oil and spun the shite out of it. Took it out cleaned it up, and applied some dry lube to it. Works buttery smooth now.
I had this issue too that I failed to mention in my thread. Your the only other to mention this so far that I've seen

Got some more time in on her today. Battery box is more or less finished. Found my led holders, fitted that. What I couldn't find was another switch to stuck in the location that haric milled into the top of the box. Placed a bit of foil tape over it for now till I can locate my spare switches. Got the pipe, carb, and fuel tank fitted as well. Just tossed a TGN and V stack till I get that fg filter set up, I really think that will be the ticket for these vektas. Now I just have to finish some set up, endpoints and what not. And the body..... still up in the air about paint. Still looking for a tt cage and front clip. Hoping ddm gets them in here in the next month or so, then this thing is going truck body. Few pics

Man looks good your almost there at the 🏁

First start. Forgot to reset the carb from it being on another engine. Got it tuned in fairly well. Need to go out to my parents, or take it into work to run it properly.

First impressions. It's pretty peppy. (Wife wouldn't video for me, and I didn't get a chest rig for the little camera I got yet.)
Over all I'm fairly happy with it. I have a few upgrades sitting here I didn't put on it yet. Definitely need to do some suspension tuning. It doesn't steer for crap. I did notice a ton of flex in the servo saver. I have the alloy top horn for it, I'll fit that up first. She can take quite a hit. My piss pore driving skills shined through again. Whacked a big old rock, and did a spectacular endo that landed right side up. Neighbor came out and watched for a wile. I think he gets more of a kick out of it then me. I'll be popping the engine back out to mesh mod it. I think some shock socks are in order as well, as crud guards. Got the rear axle pickled pretty hard already.
Here's the vid
Few pics of the first outings carnage

Now on to the body. And other fun bits.

Nice to see the vekta finally together sean 🙌
Yes very pleased its running.
Sounds awsome 👏🏻 must learn to hold your phone an controller at the same time and won't be long before you can film yourself wrecking your 💩💩🤣👏🏻👏🏻
But I got this thing to record video

I did try to hold my phone and rip it around the house a bit, but proved to be too much of a pain. That little camera came with all sorts of mounts, but nothing to attach it to a hat, or your chest.
