Too many projects at once. Hard to keep track of everything I've got. Plus just have the basement and no shop, doesn't help much either.no jokes

Spents asked for a comparison just snapped a few pics of the one end, splines are about the same on both shafts. They use a metal retaining ring to help keep the pins in the cvd.

Solid connection, beefier construction and also eliminates 2 pins and grab screws

It looks like the same cross pins for both, but they are much better supported. Imo this should be standard and not an upgrade.
I would like to mention an issue I had with the brakes in the vertigo trans. The hole and pocket machined for the brake camshaft was tight in the pocket. Like woulnt return tight. Hooked the drill to the shaft sprayed it up with some light oil and spun the shite out of it. Took it out cleaned it up, and applied some dry lube to it. Works buttery smooth now.
Looking good Sean!Got some more time in on her today. Battery box is more or less finished. Found my led holders, fitted that. What I couldn't find was another switch to stuck in the location that haric milled into the top of the box. Placed a bit of foil tape over it for now till I can locate my spare switches. Got the pipe, carb, and fuel tank fitted as well. Just tossed a TGN and V stack till I get that fg filter set up, I really think that will be the ticket for these vektas. Now I just have to finish some set up, endpoints and what not. And the body..... still up in the air about paint. Still looking for a tt cage and front clip. Hoping ddm gets them in here in the next month or so, then this thing is going truck body. Few pics
