Here is a quick vid it is a weird issue it almost seems like slop and I have bought 300 bucks worth of stinless fasteners and used the sized listed in the manual except when thicker aluminum was used and then went one size up.

I am going to check the rear later tonight I had to step away to relax for a little while.I am guessing the front gear can NOT be installed backwards and it has to be the rear or something else.I will check everything you guys mentioned in a bit

Make sure you shocks are screwed all the way into the chassis where its recessed, and make sure the tube isn't caught on an edge on inside of chassis where they are also recessed could be catching? Other than than like the other guys said screw too ling

Your bind could also be you need to adjust the mesh on your slipper..I just went through all this dude so don't get aggravated, you'll get it ? take a pic from the top of you trans gears for me when you get time if you don't have the cove on?

Yeah I checked all of that the screws that I can see and reach are all bottomed out and the shocks were removed and tightened down.The shake is like 1/8 or 1/16th of an inch of movemnet but you can hear it in the video.I will tear into it again later.So to make sure can the front diff gear be installed backwards?

Also watched vid?is the rear sway already tightened down..it also takes sets screws which could be stop it from coming together
Also them plastic cage mounts if their not lined up perfect tube won't go in hole all the way
Trying to think of them stupid little things..pull them plastic mounts make the tube went through all the way into the chassis rail, seems I can remember fighting a little bit, you shouldnt be able to spin any tube at all, should be no rattle either dude so I understand your frustration

As haric said, if the vekta is on the ground and it rolls, and doesn't lock up completely the diffs are fine. If one was reversed, your one would roll clockwise and the reversed diff would try to spin the opposite way.
The slop, double check your screw length in the lose ones to be sure like lance said, the support tube could have been machined to the incorrect depth so although the screw length maybe correct it just may need shorter.

Put it on the ground and try rolling it. My trans was binding in mine and I gave it a good toss across the floor and it broke lose and doesn't bind anymore ?
?
Edit : looks ok I see the diffs are working as open differentials.. 1 wheel on each axle going against the other side...did you try pulling the front and rear shafts 1 at a time to try and isolate the bind ?

you defo have a diff in backwards mate,
both rears going one way, both fronts going the opposite, no centre diff so has to be one diff in wrong way round

For my future vekta build how the hell is it possible to flip the diff?
its too easy rep, say yer diff should have the crown wheel on the left, if ya put the diff in with the crown on the right then the diff pinion will drive the diff the opposite way
,
I take it the diff housing allows this mistake to be made? Like on the 5ive t the diff can only go in one way so I was like wtf is going on here
i aint sure with the vekta rep, the rear axle will allow that diff to be fitted wrong way round , front similar going by posts above
,i'm just going off the vid mate, its the only thing it can be,
been there done that with the dragon hammer
, front diff will only fit in the case one way, but the case can be fitted either way up, so reversing the rotation,and rear diff in solid axle can be fitted either way round on the hammer as well,
