it is 4wd, i took an fs 4-bolt put in a cy crank, fast eddy's bearings ,match ported the crankcase and intake. it is running a walbro carb(668) and the pipe is an fs pipe. it is running dual steering servos and steel c&d gears. i will be adding Imex's new alloy upper and lower arms soon too.when they are built right you can get a lot of car for little investment!
we have loaned out our video camera, as soon as we get it back i will post some vids!
Is there any type of lub you can but on the exposed metal gears in the middle, its basiclly a diff gear exposted with no lubercation

I have a junk fs motor that I don't know what I want to do with, how has the motor held up after being rebuilt?
Hi you say soap bar mmm well that's a first could be worth a try but im a bit dubious about that and if it gets wet you will be for ever blowing bubbles lol:lol:

I was going to run my buggy this weekend, but I took it out yesterday to get the motor tuned, and the tranny gears ended up shreading, the cause a metal e-clip falling off. I was going to replace the parts with mcd, but the mcd parts looked very different.
if you do get an hpi try to get an ss or a 5t.since getting my ss i have learned what it is like to actually be able to run hard without the concern of my truck making it thru a tank.my 5b has been the most cost efficient rc i have ever owned!no more clones for me,selling that fs of mine was a terrible expience. from here on out i will not invest that much time into something that offers no way of getting any of your investment back.
