Coming along nicely. 👍🏽

Do you think it’s worth putting PTFE tape on my IRCs when I get round to building them?
i've never teflon taped irc's miles, and never had an issue yet (y),
irc's have plastic bottom inserts and also have an o ring on em,
i do recall doug had and issue with a loose shock bottom fairly recent though, cant remember if it was an irc or fg shock though,

Was irc👍🏻

got this far so far (y),
most side plate screws still need loctite though , but easily accessible for that,
left the top left rear top link loose cos ordered some vertigo throttle/brake servo mounts, one screw sits behind that link end,
also ordered some fullforce steering servo mounts, so am waiting for those now,

Both👍🏻 but ment to say shockwears
not sure yet doug, i tend not to like shock socks or shockwears really,
but ryan said the chrome on the shock shafts seems to scratch quite easy, so may try some if i find some i like (y),
as for filterwears, again never really been a fan, i used to run some on the twins filters, still have em in fact,
might try some again if i find the right colour etc,
also depends where the cars run an all :D

centre shaft , bumper and front end all bolted on (y),

centre shaft is sooooo close to the chassis brace ,

i did buy these area rc alloy beads for this build, but they don't fit :ROFLMAO:,
turns out ya needs a bit o flex to even get the stock plastic ones to fit ,
alloy ones will be used on different rims/tires so wont go to waste (y),
on my wheels/ beads thers a discrpency in size, only very slight, but its there so needs flex to fit,
also the edge of the tire where the bead sits seems to be larger than other tires ,

so wheels and tires mounted up,
my hands feckin hurt now though :ROFLMAO:

so technically a roller now (y), waiting on servo mounts which i should have tomorrow,
once those are fitted i can get the tank in etc (y)

so today i fitted the full force steering servo mounts and the vertigo throttle servo mounts (y) :D,
steering mounts not loctited yet cos i saw someone else had to machine a tad off theres to get em to fit right,
might have been the servo they used that didnt clear, cant quite remember

the rear throttle mount a pain to fit with the side plate fitted, but doable, i did the sean method with a short allen key (y):)

checked some srvos would fit, wont be using these savox ones cos they glitch badly,
they were from a bad batch that savox had a few years ago that ended up in the uk,
also thread locked all the side plate screws that needed some after getting the mounts fitted ,

next jobs gonna be sort the tank out, and also the stock battery box for now,

also need to sort out the pipe,
boosterpipe that just needs the header modding or remaking so it fits the zelda spovan 45 engine :ROFLMAO:,
engine needs removing from my test baja as well ,

gonna be stuck for a little while till i can afford a few more bits n bobs now, servos etc,
shouldnt be long though (y)

Real shame bout the uk savox debacle 👎🏻 all mine are 100%🤷‍♂️ coming on nicely bud 👍
thanks doug (y),
and yeh the whole uk savox thing was a ballache tbh, it was hit or miss whether ya got good or glitchy servos for a while,
was only the 0240 and 0241 ones that were affected it seemed an all,
the ones i have were in the dragon hammer when i got it,
i did post a vid on here somewhere of how they glitched, there terrible :ROFLMAO:
